A Message From Progressive Powder Coating General Manager, John Sikora.

    I would like to take this opportunity to introduce you to one of northern Ohio's newer and more progressive Powder Coating Service Companies. Progressive Powder Coating, Inc. is located in Mentor, Ohio just a few minutes off of Interstate 90 and Route 2; approximately 20 miles east of Cleveland, Ohio. We are established in 2 modern 50,000 square foot buildings with room for expansion. Progressive Powder Coating has been in operation for over 11 years, yet brings 40 years of powder coating experience to your company to solve any powder coating needs you have. Not only do we have the coating knowledge; we also have a state of the art of powder coating line with the latest Nordson Corporation spray equipment, a five and seven stage washer for proper cleaning and metal preparation and the latest technology in the curing of powder, which includes a catalytic gas infra-red oven.

    Progressive Powder Coating has two seperate buildings and systems. Our older system is equipped with a five stage Washer consisting of an Alkaline Cleaner, Rinse, Iron Phosphate, Rinse and a Non Chromic Seal. This system can handle parts up to 16 feet long x 84 inches high x 40 inches wide. Our new state of the art system has a seven stage metal prep and cleaning washer consisting of an Acid Pickling, Rinse, Alkaline Clean, Rinse, Iron Phosphate, Rinse and a Non Chromic Seal. This system can process parts up to 30 feet long x 68 inches high x 56 inches wide. Both of our Powder Systems pass 1000 hours salt spray testing.

    Progressive Powder Coating will not only meet your needs but we will exceed any level of quality standards your product requires. We have an hourly Process Control Program in place, along with continuous checks on paint quality, cure and coating thickness. We can customize a Quality Control Program that includes: the Process Control Program, gloss tests, visual color checks to a color standard, detailed masking or any type of critical test you may need. Whatever your quality need may be, we can develop a program for you, document it and make copies available for your files.

    Progressive Powder Coating is not just a powder coating company. We are a highly, automated full service powder coating finisher that promotes the service side of the business. Some of the customer services offered include: sub-assembly, finish packing off line, masking, adding decals or stickers to products and drop shipping to your customer. Additionally you have my personal guarantee of a quote within 24 hours; and samples picked up, coated and returned to you within 72 hours.
